boards and kits available with prices

Postby jakeb » Sat Dec 15, 2007 9:16 pm

I have the boards in hand right now. I will have all the components the middle of the week. I currently have 15 sets of boards.

All of these prices include shipping anywhere in the world

Each kit will have all the parts in individual labeled bags where all the parts need to go.

bare boards only - $32
single side copper with top silk screen
1 digital board
1 22 channel analog board
1 true USB board

kit - $110

a set of boards
all components to solder to the boards
programmed PIC
backlit LCD

To add headers and ribbon cables with all connectors it is an extra $22

The kit does not include jacks. I had a source for 1/4" jacks but they are all gone. I was thinking of looking for something a little smaller. Like a RJ45 connector or RCA connectors or something.

I take payment using paypal. If you already have an account and want some just send payment to edrumming@theguestroom.net
If you do not have an account please post here or email and I will send you an invoice. I am going to put together a order page once I get the parts and have the kits together to show pictures.

If you have any questions feel free to email or post.

A portion of each sale will go back to the project to help with costs.

I'm definitely interested... reserve me (1) full kit.

Do you have a PDF of the instructions and assembly guide ready? I'd like to take a look.

Thanks!

No I do not. Once I get all the parts and have some time to build one I will write something up. It really will be pretty easy to build with all the parts in labeled bags.

How much is only the digital board with its components and a true midi usb board? I don't need the LCD cause I have one.

I have a doubt about the analog boards? Are they easily modifiable to use two of them for the future 32 inputs version? Don't you plan to build the 32 inputs analog boards Synthex designed?

I have 10 full kits worth of parts ordered and on the way to me. It takes me a couple days to pack them all up.

erules: the analog board and parts are actually the lowest cost of everything. I would say that the board and all the parts is about $12 or so... So if you want a kit go with the full kit and then just change to the 32 when it comes out and if you feel you need the additional inputs. I would rather not split up the board sets but if you want to subtract the LCD I will sell it for 100 shipped.

Here is a page to order via pay pal. You can pay with paypal or use a credit card. It will convert to USD

I don't understand why so big the difference between bare boards ($32) and kit ($100). (I'm not english so maybe I have a confusion with what it means)

The boards are only the PCBs nothing else.

The kit includes all the components. All the parts are in labeled bags. And it will cost more to ship. The reason for the price differences

Is it difficult to solder those tiny parts to the PCB?? Is it like soldering with the stripboard? Do I need a special solder?
