Just read in the specifications (datasheet) if it is HD44780 compatible. If it is, you can use it with megadrum, if not - search for an alternative.

It will start an irreversible chain reaction that will blow away the Earth's magnetic field, leaving us at the mercy of solar winds that will burn us all to a cinder... ;)

Just joking... go ahead, it'll be fine.
If it ain't broken... fix it until it is.

Read the datasheet of the LCD or ask the seller.

It is said, that Fordata uses SunPlus SPLC780A1-02 controllers for their displays.
And those are HD44780 compliant.
So, it means, that you can use this display for megadrum construction.

BUT pay attention to pinout for your display, and do not mess with power supply pins! Or u can damage your LCD.

That I think my LCD is compatible.

Apparently he is SPLC780D which is the new version of HD44780

Thanks

Anyone know tell me the polarity of the diode on the keyboard?
because the scheme is contradictory. has two cathodes and two anodes in the same diode. Which is correct?
