Disable CC 4 recognition in Addictive Drums and see if you still get missed hits when hitting edge. If it doesn't miss hits then the problem is with CC 4 handling in Addictive Drums for edge notes.
If it still misses hits, check in MIDI Log that it triggers every time you hit the edge.
