Postby Rudolph_1 » Wed May 28, 2014 12:43 am

Hi Guys:

I was playing my EDRUM normally today start the device and the display appeared to blink and could not see the VU meter ... please, what else I could check?
1 - several times, restart the module, but the problem continued.

The problem appeared when connecting the module to cubase5 ...

version of the module is 2 32 inputs.

Thank you very much for helping me.

I cannot see the module on the picture but I'm guessing that if it is the backlight which disappears then it might be a problem with the LCD or the cable connecting the main board and the LCD. I don't see though how running Cubase or anything else can be relevant.

Thank you for responding. I'll try to be more specific...when i turn on MEGADRUM in normal state(not entering the bootloader), the lcd display blinks forever(blinking LCD photo), but when i turn on MEGADRUM entering bootloader(pressing LEFT key) the lcd works just fine, showing the information as you can see on the Bootloader LCD photo, for updating the firmware. If I try to update firmware, selecting 20MHZ or 16MHz on MEGADRUM and using megadrum32_20_32_20091217.hex or megadrum32_20_32_20091217.syx i get the same message as yo can see in Firmware Update photo. The board has ATMEGA32 16PU 0807D with a crystal of 20MHz. I hope it's enough information to get it working again.

There is no point in having bootloader in unprotected Atmega. Program your Atmega with last available unprotected firmware.
