I don't recall ever seeing that message in green; I closed my other programs, restarted MDM, and tried each port option but now I'm getting "MIDI Init Error." I took a screenshot in case it helps:

You can attach screenshots to your posts. I cannot see images in links you give.
You shouldn't try all MIDI ports, you should choose MegaDrum MIDI ports (both In and Out).
Take a screenshot of ports MDM shows in Options if you don't know which ports belong to MegaDrum.

It passes midi when port 1 or port 2 are selected. I hadn't seen that post about the screenshots... here you go:

What Mac OS and Java versions are installed on your Mac?
Native MIDI implementation in Java on Mac OS is broken, and this is why MDM for Mac comes bundled with mmj library which does proper MIDI implementation. In that case you should see MegaDrum MIDI ports in Options as 'MegaDrum USB MIDI - Port 1' and 'MegaDrum USB MIDI - Port 2'
Did you install MDM for 'Mac OS X (bundled with Java)' from http://www.megadrum.info/content/megadrum-manager ( http://www.megadrum.info/downloads/mega ... taller.pkg ) ?
