Thats what I said all the time.
It doesn't matter if the pin is above or below, but the pin farthest away from the sleeve is tip.

Do you think the labels in this picture are correct?

Yes. And in the manual tips go to heads/bows and rings go to rims/edges.

No, in the instruction manual Pin 34 (Snare Rim) goes to Tip and Pin 33 (Snare Head) goes to Ring:

Where did you get this diagram? The manual in viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1420 shows tip going to pin 33 and ring going to ping 34.

Thats really funny.
So we were both right.

I got the insturction manual, as I mentioned in my first post here, from your site.

Via this site: http://www.megadrum.info/content/megadrum-kit

This file http://www.megadrum.info/sites/default/ ... manual.pdf

So now everthing is clear now. Thanks a lot.

How odd, Hi hat as well.

Playing devils advocate and navigating from the front page does, eventually, lead to that wrong version.

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.
