Hey guys,

I went ahead and used your edited setup file. This definately cured my kick - hihat problem completely.

But there is something really wrong with using mdm (I have version 20140516) with my firmware (20140518). I run on a laptop with windows 8.1 on it. Any time I try to write a settings files using mdm, the program just freezes partway. I have to kill it with windows because it never recovers. It kinda seems to work, but I know it messes up some values. For instance all my tom's gain went to 0 once I used your settings ??!!

Editing on md itself works reliably all the time. Have you ever run into this type of problem ?

many thanks for the help, greatly appreciated

Please update the firmware version to the latest version and try to reproduce the problem.

One trick I always used in good old days was to not use the "send all" function...it was better then to update each pad separate by using send in the pad panel and step through all the drums.

It was years since I saw mdm hanged ...

Hello Dmitri,

My MDM is up to date. Can you confirm that my module is the ARM STM32F103RCT6 based 32 ?

I downloaded the firmware from your site and tried to upgrade with mdm and megadrumSMT32b_56_20140809.bin

But MDM gives an error message that MD is not responding...

The MCU type is shown on MDM screen.

STM32F103RBT6, then load STM32a

STM32F103RCT6, then load STM32b

Try this method viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1252

Hello,

This method worked on my STM32b. I was able to upgrade to the latest firmware and my MDM is also up to date. But if I try to load one of my settings files (i.e. the one you sent me) and then 'send all' settings to md then MDM just freezes. 'get all' works fine

Before doing 'Send All', try to set MaxInputs the same as in the config file (press Send next to Live Updates).
