Resistor in which case? how? when?

Postby krickgpe » Sun Dec 28, 2014 11:45 am

hi,
I read that it is sometimes useful to install a resistor on the sensors of the toms or the snare . What kind of resistance and how are they installed? In what case I should install a resistor?
Thanks.

Plug your drum in and test the high level. If its over 950ish then you'll need a resistor.

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.

MD - set 'HiLvlAuto' to YES
Move to the next setting which should be 'high level'
Hit your pad a few times, as hard as you are likely to hit during normal playing and you will see this value change.
This will become 127 velocity.
