Unless it has an unusual design, I doubt it may be incompatible.

I like that you can use whatever brand cymbal you want as a hi-hat.

I'm trying to debate between this and an optical/infrared sensor.

Does anyone make a commercial optical/infrared sensor to mount on a conventional hi hat stand or in between 2 ecymbals?
