Daisy Chain Megadrum with Edrummin10

Hello, and I hope this question can be done.

I am aiming to buy an AudioFont Edrummin10 to complement my megadrum, and have more inputs on my module with an additional layer of control and ease.

Given the fact, is anyone running such setup like this? Do you use the USB input on the edrummin to connect the megadrum, or do you connect these via MIDI?
