PCB DESIGN - All In One v2.5 - 32 inputs with 74HC4851

Postby Synthex » Thu May 08, 2008 1:58 pm

Here is my All In One PCB design with keyboard pullup resistors, to be etch at home.

Note : The double layer design v2.7 is better than this one !

All pinouts are the same as v2.3 and v2.4 version.

Thanks for this design, we are going to use it next week, when we try to make the pcb again.
Btw, there's pictures of f***ed-up pcb on the other topic, if you haven't seen them. :P

I have the pcb now, I'm now putting components that I already have to it. Synthex, could you make a part list for this pcb? :P

Synthex, could you re-design this board to use 74hc4851 in smd format? but the rest keeping the same way. I know that already has a smd-to-dip adapter, but with this os kind ugly.
Thanks.

You can see the list of components on the top of the PCB. It's the "same" as v2.4.

Sorry, but i don't redesign this board for SMD format.
It's difficult to do it in one layer, You can use smd-to-dip adapter.

Here are the pictures of the pcb, that succeeded this time. My friend also drilled the board, but he missed one hole, so I should drill that hole.
Ps. Dunno why the pictures look like the pcb was bended. Pics also look blurry, but so what.

Looks nice. Make sure you don't have unwanted shortcuts/breaks.

Yes, Shorts and breaks have already been checked&repaired. Today I soldered some components, that I already have. Soldering joints were horrible, but they work. Also my solder iron sucks so bad. :D I think I'll buy digital solder-station sometime. With that soldering is WAY more easy and better.
