Why? My idea is quite opposite! When it's implemented megadrum will work with all VST plugins! Those supporting aftertouch will use it, others will use choke notes. Even if only note-chokes are implemented, all VST plugins support it as far as I know. But if all users that want to perform with Ableton Live or use Mixosaurus or alike in other hosts will have to do research on how to do it, install different midi-ox like programs deal with scripting, probably get some delays - I would call it a workaround. I suppose I'm the first who ask for this, but there may be some e-drummers that use Ableton and want to join the community for example.
