If you mean the HighLevel value is 64.
I also played with the values of threshold-Gain-HighLevel as i read in configuration but still nothing.

1. Forget MDM for now. Do everything using LCD and MegaDrum's buttons/rotary encoders.
2. Leave all settings in MegaDrum at defaults.
3. Connect a pad to a Kick input.
4. Hit the pad lightly a few times.

Which VU meter on the LCD goes up/down when you hit the pads?
What value on the Kick input do you see in HighLevel now?

Ok, i didn't use MDM. I fon't know how to reset to default settings, but i have "AutoLoad Conf" at No, so when i open MD, has default settings right?
I haven't mount the piezo at my pads yet, just do a test with some soldered piezos, and hit the piezo with my finger (see photo)
Connected the piezo to the kick input, second from left, up row. When disconnected, the yellow ring of the input felt (see photo). I don't think this is a problem.
Hit the piezo with different hardness, nothing happened in LCD screen. No VU meter rises.
The AutoHighLevel is "Yes" and the HighLevel still says 64.

If you don't get signal at all on the Kick input it is one of these:
1. The piezo is not soldered to the tip (signal) and the sleeve(ground) of the cable.
2. The cable is bad.
3. The piezo is bad.

To eliminate point 1, connect it to the snare jack ( 4th jack on the top) and tap the piezo again. Does any VU meter move? If yes, which VU meter?

That's it! The piezo is not soldered in the right place!
Sorry for all the trouble with the settings, now works and i can hear the sounds in my pc.
Thanks a lot Dmitri!

Another problem: After connected succesfully all the pads in Megadrum (default settings), whenever i hit a pad, the pad is sending to megadrum 2-3 different signals. For example if i hit the snare, the bars of snare, hihat and crash rises and i here 3 sounds together from Addictive Drums.
Is that a setting problem? Or my diy rack isn't so stable and anytime i hit a pad, some other pad gets a hit?

MegaDrum has different crosstalk suppression levels (XTalk) and crosstalk groups(XTalkGrp) but these settings will only work if you have at least reasonably good mechanical isolation between pads. The mechanical isolation between pads depends on your drum rack's and pads' design/quality.

I did put xtalk in highest level but still get multiple sounds. That means that my construction of drum rack and pads is poor.
Thanks Dmitri, i'll try to fix them.

I re-open this thead because for 1,5 year didn't use at all my megadrum (ARM STM32F103RBT6), because of the bad design of my diy e-drum.
Finally made a stable rack and start again to finally play some drums.
I did all the updates with latest firmware, and downloaded the newest Megadrum Manager. I use Addictive Drums 2
I have 2 problems:

1) With the basic Megadrum map in AD2, half of the pads have no sound! I also load "MegaDRUM Basic_32" map from Megadrum manager.I miss either cymbals, ride and hihat, or toms and snare! I use single piezos in every pad, and have connected to the first row of inputs in megadrum, starting from second input with this order: kick-hihat-snare-ride-crash-tom1-tom2-tom3.
What am i doing wrong?
Is there a link with description about setting up megadrum and AD2? For people like me, with zero knowledge about MIDI's and related software, wish that things were very simple like plug and play.

2) Half of the times i open megadrum, the light is on, and on Led screen there's a low continiously hit of snare. The problem stops when unplugged all the input cables, and plugged them again!
Is this because of bad isolation of the cables?

Hi!

Welcome back!

Have you seen this guide? http://issuu.com/digitaldrummer/docs/md_ad2_v099_1_

1, select the MegaDRUM basic settings in AD2
2. On your MD, select ROM Map Basic (or download and load basic_32)

Now the key note maps are loaded for a certain number of inputs...(but keep in mind that all piezo configuration have been left to the user to handle)

Does your inputs follow my recommended inputs described in the guide? The crash and ride comes inputs comes after the toms in my recommendation. See guide.

We have also a scenario where we take this one step ahead...the ROM Kits...which includes both maps and configuration for some targeted hardware. See the guide for details.

For all type of false triggering - please raise your threshold slightly on your snare.

Best regards
