Auto HighLevel 65 means the input is not registering signals at all besides noise ( I might have soldered the ring pin instead of the tip pin on the kick jack). Can you try it in another input (jack)?

Really intrigued as to what this is now, I'm right out of ideas, Mike.

Out of desperation
1 swap the lead
2 swap input

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.

On Aux2: HighLevel = 132 (really hit it hard) using HighLevelAuto procedure (Threshold=30, Gain=4).

Also: I am unable to execute the AutoHighLevel procedure on the same input twice without power cycling the MD, and closing, then opening, MDM.

Tried new input, switched cables (and tried stereo cables instead of mono): no change.

To start the procedure again you just need to set HighLevel back to 64. Set Gain to 7 , Threshold to 40 and repeat the procedure. What HighLevel do you get now?

When Gain=7 and Threshold=40:

AUX6 input level on MD LCD screen shows max and I get triggering at 0 ms intervals constantly without hitting the pad. Can't execute HighLevelAuto procedure.

HighLevelAuto procedure at Gain=7 and Threshold = 60 returns HighLevel=221.

Ok, with this Gain, Threshold and HighLevel, what is the sensitivity/triggering problem now?

I'd say it takes about a 25% hard hit for me to get a note (less sensitive than with the settings I started the thread with).

So with Threshold set to 60, it doesn't register light hits but if you set Threshold to 59, it starts false triggering on it's own, correct?
