It looks as if the author intended to do a guide for BFD and Addictive aswell but never finished. Maybe finish what was started?

I would rather put the effort into fleshing out the wiki that you started. I like its lack of clutter and that it is under the same domain name.
My intention is that this should not be something that you are spending time maintaining. I think that the regular contributors to the forum can provide the content. When we were asked a broadly applicable question, we should find or write the wiki entry with the requested information. Then we would reply with a link to the wiki page.
I'm willing to administer accounts and start putting some of the helpful forum posts up on the wiki.
If we're happy with how things are turning out, we could add the prominent link in a couple of weeks.
Is this a reasonable plan?

I haven't touched wiki for a long time so I'll need to check what needs to be done to add a new administrator account on it.

I have reworked the front page and started the general organization (at least as I see it).

I don't want to be rude, but why are you using another third party script for the wiki?
Drupal has Wiki-module and features too.
If you would like to, I can help with custom theming and code if needed. I'm was a long time core contributor for the Drupal project (for example the Garland-theme, was of my hand).

I installed MediaWiki on request from the original starter of the Wiki. Also, I need to keep main website and wiki users completely separate.
