I would rather put the effort into fleshing out the wiki that you started. I like its lack of clutter and that it is under the same domain name.
My intention is that this should not be something that you are spending time maintaining. I think that the regular contributors to the forum can provide the content. When we were asked a broadly applicable question, we should find or write the wiki entry with the requested information. Then we would reply with a link to the wiki page.
I'm willing to administer accounts and start putting some of the helpful forum posts up on the wiki.
If we're happy with how things are turning out, we could add the prominent link in a couple of weeks.
Is this a reasonable plan?
