It is most certainly 20MHz. Again, choosing wrong frequency won't harm MegaDrum.

Was <Midi Speed> removed in the latest firmware?

Thanks

"MIDI Speed" is only needed in Atmega based firmware and it's still there.
It's never been in ARM based firmware because over USB ARM always uses maximum USB speed.

Hi,
I have not used megadrum for a long time now and when I connected it to megadrum manager it lets me know that I need to update my firmware on my megadrum device. When I downloaded the lastest firmware files I cannot find the files for a 32 input only 52 inputs. Where are the firmare for the 32 inputs devices?
Thanks!

56 inputs versions support modules with 32 inputs. You set the maximum number of inputs with the MaxInputs setting.

The 5/18 firmware chick handling seems really great, better than ever. Using the raw display i got settings kind of close, but then after i revisited those parameters I tuned them up or down by ear and it works quite well. I am running a hall effect pedal. Chick velocities seem really well handled. I used exp1 curve. I'm able to really vary the strength by my foot now wheras before i sacrificed alot of definition. Does this firmware change affect splashes? My spring in my pedal isnt very strong and my pcy135 is pretty heavy, which might have everything to do with it, but I cant reliably get splashes. I can get them if i put delay up to 90 but that plays weird. I feel like at 20 or lower i dont notice a delay but dont get splashes at that low of a delay.

I didn't do much tuning of Splash handing in the new algorithm so it may not work as expected. For now I put on hold working on this new algorithm since it appears there is little interest in improving Chick/Splash handling at the moment. See viewtopic.php?p=26533#p26533
