After you made config changes, make screenshots of settings for two inputs with crosstalk problem and make a screenshot of MIDI raw log showing MIDI data when the crosstalk happens.
ok will do

What "new update"?
firmware 20140808 I had 21040518 (it seems like a lot changed my pads seem much hotter too)

So is it more crosstalk or less crosstalk after last config change and moving pads/cymbals between inputs?
its like I have all drums and cymbals triggering .. (baseline set up) and now I notice lots of cross talk it may have been there before because I was focusing on getting the drums to trigger and levels set

Or is it like 5 min ago there were no crosstalk and now I have crosstalk.
No
Please be more specific and precise because most of the time I'm trying to decipher what you did
I know im sorry its kinda hard explaining technical stuff ill try harder
When we get to the root of your problem I may post a test firmware version with a possible fix for you to test.
I know man you guys are the best .. its just frustrating .. but im glad you guys are patient with me

I need to figure out if I should start from scratch or work with the one I already have
I guess ill start from scratch !! and set each drum step by step and the first time I get cross triggering I can report it to you right away
and we can figure it out together once its good ill move on to the next one and hopfully I can finally enjoy this thing :)

thanks Dmitri

Try this firmware version:
megadrumSTM32b_56_20140917.zip

It should address the crosstalk between inputs when Threshold is set very low (close to a threshold when it begins to auto-trigger without hits) regardless of MinScan on those inputs.

thank you Dmitri... ill let you know how it worked.. your awesome thanks

oh my god Dmitri its night and day difference (tom 2 still has a very slight xtalk with the hihat) but I plan to reset the levels they are different with this new fw mabe that will fix it ... but all drums and cymbals are almost perfect far as I can tell (I didn't mess with the rims just heads .. but I am so happy so far )

when I get this together I am sending you and anders some money to buy yourself some new sticks or a beer :)

I set all the levels on my heads and they are much better but tom2 and the hihat still cross talk as per what you requested I am posting my info

what ever you did seems to be on the right track :)

Yes, I did but I understood that you were going to retest Tom 2.
Anyway, this false triggering is different because HiHat triggers after Tom 2.
So for a start put Tom 2 and HiHat in the same XTalk group on both head/bow and rim/edge zones.

ok its the hihat is back to cross triggering this time its crossing with the snare

I did move the hihat to port 46 so I could keep the 2 kick pedals together

no other drums are cross triggering cept this hihat,, is there anything I can do ?

also all my closed hihat tip hits are giving the same sound as a chick(or pedal closing)

1. HighLevel on the HiHat bow is definitely not set properly. Incorrect HighLevel on an input will prevent crosstalk suppression algorithm from working properly.
2. Set Retrigger Mask on the HiHat bow to at least 1.
3. Increase DynLevel and DynTime on the HiHat bow.

also all my closed hihat tip hits are giving the same sound as a chick(or pedal closing)

Because you set HiHat Pedal Closed Notes to the same value as Chick Note.

I set the hilvl input so low because I was trying increase the volume of the hihat the hihat when closed tip hit was very low but.. open was almost 4 times as loud I was experimenting and forgot to change it back before the pic (its normally 300ish but it was still cross triggering but ill try it again )

is there a way to increase the loudness of the hihat tip when closed? with out increasing the loudness of it when opend?

also ill try the other stuff you suggested when I get home from work

You're not making it easy by presenting unrelated configs.

MegaDrum sends the same MIDI velocity for the same strength HiHat hit regardless of if it is open or closed. So if it sounds too quite when closed then you have to address it in your soft synth.
