Good to know the video was useful.

Raise the threshold til it stops triggering and don't worry about the value.

Latency will come from pc/mac, what are the specs ?

So over 1000 is ok?...I dont have my whole system at home...I have a quad core Inspiron 15 5000 - Intel - Core i5 - 6200U - 2.3 GHz - DDR3L SDRAM - RAM: 8 GB - 1 TB with 2 TB external at home. but I run SD usually through my Steinberg UR824 8 outputs and use its ASIO output for my live kit. I have one tom hats controller snare and cymbals at home right now

1000 is a bit high, what do you have gain set at?
What are the buffer settings in the Steinberg?

I don't have the Steinberg here. I'm just using my laptop soundcard. I'm More worried about getting the sounds to the pads and getting the settings on the pads correct.

Yes, just so you are aware that the latency is from the laptop soundcard.
So you have your high level and your threshold set, all good?

So high level & threshold determine the compatibility? I notice (although faint) on my kick for example a constant register, or the kick...so turning the threshold up will eliminate that? Also, I should match the notes Superior Drummer has for the Midi of each pad? That could be tricky...what do you do for dual zones and Yamaha RH135 Hihats? Thanks again

Megadrum will divide the dynamics equally (given a linear cuve) between the threshold and the high level. So your threshold will send a velocity of 1, and so on up to the high level, which will send a velocity of 127.

You can map the drums how you want. Thats the beauty of e drums, If you want a cowbell on one of the 2nd zones then do that.

Don't be afraid of raising the threshold, One of my kicks is at 51.

Ok slowing this is tarting to work for me. After going thru the PDF of the different screens I understood a few things. But I am stumped. What is the proper way to save so on the next session I can start exactly where I left off. Also, I cant seem to find a good example of the settings for the Piezo/Switch rubber pad to compare my tru trac heads/epro live to, I thought a PD-8 may be similar but not finding any settings. Also, For the Yamaha RH135HH Hihat pedal - This document shows a Curve as LinearCustom1, but I also have a Chick Curve (not indicated on this document) should that also be set to LinearCustom1...here---> https://www.dropbox.com/s/inkamgrcvminf ... 5pedal.PNG. The pedal setting is not functioning properly Is it because I am using SD2?
