Thought I'd post a couple pics of my Input PCB. It's mounted in the case already but you can still see it pretty well lol. I had to mod it a bit to get it to fit in the smaller case. So I had to cut off a couple corners and instead of using the PCB mount USB port I got a Neutrik USB port.

I used these

There are several options. The ones Synthex posted are cheaper though.

Stupid question.

Since there are two input boards, I assume you need a ribbon cable with three connectors (IE a standard computer IDE cable). Two plug into the input boards and the other goes to the main mega drum module. Am I correct in assuming this?

The Input jack PCB problem (I hate too much wires running in a module like this as it's that many more things that can go wrong) has been the one thing preventing me from jumping the gun on this, but now that I see there's a schematic for one I'll probably decide to pull the trigger soon.

So you'd rather deal with a ton of single wires, then just have the PCB? I have to say the PCB is a much much easier solution. Also yes you use an IDE style cable with 3 connectors.

You misread. I was hesitant to do this because without a PCB it would be a mess of wires. With the PCB it's far simpler.

Well I'm not sure you quite worded it that way. The way it reads for me is that there was a problem with the input PCB or something. Regardless I think I understand what you were saying. You didn't want to build a megadrum because of the lack of a PCB for the inputs.

I'm using a Roland FD8 Hi-Hat pedal, so what do I need to set these jumpers to? I don't see anything describing what they need to be set to?
