We found it !
Pin16 of lcd connector was shorting with the adjacent trace!
Now the resistance between vcc and gnd is 4.7k and my multimeter just make a bare beep when touching vcc and gnd that goes in a milisecond (capacitor charges?)

Is ok 4.7k ?

Should I be happy then? It's ok? Will it function or will start a fire? :P

Progress: Yesterday I soldered almost everything, i'm missing the dreaded 40p ide conector, that is a pain to put it in place. I will drill a little more the holes to help it fit. Another problem to solve is that in the inputs pcb the 40p does not match exactly the holes, i think this is a issue about printing the gif, that didn't print to scale. I will try to save the board forcing a little the connector.. wish me luck :geek:

The way I'm reading the data is that you have 4.7k resistance, and Dmitri says it's not a short. But he doesn't say if it's a problem or not, but his smiley makes me think it is a problem. So, based on the fact there are 4.7k resistors on the board and you have 4.7k of resistance registered I think logically you can conclude that you're reading across one of those 4.7k resistors. Whether or not you should be or not I have no idea.

Judging from the schematic http://www.megadrum.info/img/digital_board_kicad.png, without ICs there should be around 9k-10k due to R2 and R3 between vcc and gnd.

The problem is that i'm building synthex's 2.5 and don't have schematics

Too be honest I would not be able to build anything without a schematic.

Judging from pcb 2.5 pictures these two resistirs are in the middle of the pcb just below 1k,10k,6k2 resistors.

I will check this afternoon, maybe I have put a 470 resistor instead of a 4.7k? I swear I measured resistors prior to installing but I will double check
