Well, after checking that the resistors are ok, i decided to complete the building.

Its working!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sadly the inputs pcb I made has the contacts for every input in the opposite leg as my jacks.. so i will need to short them with a wire or something. My jacks are switched type and disconnect that leg when you connect a jack.

Here are pictures of the build (14 and 15)

And a video of my son playing finger drumming :D

Well, I guess not everything can be smooth, my lcd backlit is dead. I get 3.7v on pins 15 and 16 of the connector and the pins in the lcd but it won't come up. Shame.

Was working and now isnt? Or never worked? If the latter maybe you just need to adjust the trimpot?

The trimpot, if you're still using it, is for adjusting contrast.

Never worked in this board (it worked in the previous -dmitri schema-)
The contrast is ok, the BACKLIT is what isn't working

Too be honest I would not be able to build anything without a schematic.

The shematic exists ! ...

If you are asking for the trimpot removal, no, i didn't make that modification, I'm using the 10k trimpot
