New Big VU meter display please

While I am working on XTalk issues with head/rim sensors on the same pad it cam to my mind it would be really handy to have an alternative Big-VU-meter style for testing/setup purposes:
Keep the 2 big horizontal meters, but make the upper one for the head sensor and the lower one for the rim sensor of the input/pad that is being hit.

Instead of setting Big-VU meter on/off like it is atm one could select a value between 0 and 2:
0: off=small VU meter
1: Big VU meter as it is at the moment
2: Big VU meter as I described

Useful? Possible?

I find Poldi-1's proposition usefull - you'd have a way of knowing what levels your piezos are actually "sending" when hit and thus, getting an idea when crosstalk happens, etc.
Id would be also great, if there was a way you could swap the Big VU mode between the proposed one and the old one.

I use something like this made in Cakewalk Sonar virtual panel when I set up pads and triggers.
But such feature in Megadrum itself will be cool.
