that I'm working an iOS app to control MegaDrum from an iPad with a Camera connection kit (or any similar iPad accessory which provides USB host functionality, e.g. I tested MegaDrum with http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280671169018 ).
It takes quite a lot of time so for this reason don't expect firmware updates for a while unless somebody reports a bug which has to be fixed.

Wait a minute.
Does that mean we are close to be able to use an iOS device for
Sampling? Like iDrum or beatmaker or something Toontrack
may release in the Future?

Wow, that is awesome.

In a few months i will be buying a module (because i dont have the time to build one and dont have the money now), however together with the module i will give a donation for your awesome work.

Keep up the great work man, greetings from Brazil.

Here is a test app for an iPad:
MDCommander.ipa.zip

If you want to test it then your iPad must be jailbroken. Google to find out how to install an .ipa on a jailbroken device.
If you want to test it with MegaDrum then you need either a Camera connection kit (or any similar iPad accessory which provides USB host functionality, e.g. I tested MegaDrum with http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130613580303 ) or an iPad MIDI converter, e.g. "Line 6 MIDI Mobilizer"

As far as I know iPhone doesn't support Core MIDI.

I never heard about that. The Line 6 Mobilizer or the new iRig Midi Interface are supporting the Iphone, too.
