Any triggers for mesh heads that don't require resistor?

I currently have the Roland rt/s/k 10's. I would rather find a trigger that is ready to be set up without the need of resistors. Can anyone recommend triggers for me?

I believe Pintech do not require resistors

35mm Quartz Percussion on harness does not need resistors...

Best regards

I'm using Intriggs on snare and toms with 2 ply mesh heads. No resistors required.

Hi

So, is not a fixed principle, depends on the output signal of the piezo, in my case after a lot of tests with voltage dividers I found the right resistence for my pad ( around 12/15k Ohm ) , I just put a tiny resistor in series with piezo inside the pad and then i configure settings megadrum, and.... i don't know if is a truth but a "cooled" signal is more easy to work well than "hot" signal ( i mean about crosstalk between the zone and concern about false triggering problems )

Cheers

I built mine with head and rim piezos wired in series which raises the resistance. So i didnt use any additional resistors except my kick drum.

Can you explain that a bit further?

Ok, from memory it went sleeve to head brass, to rim ceramic. Ring to rim brass, tip to head ceramic.

The internal trigger from Helensson has potentiometers for both the head and rim piezos.... also a phase switch for the head piezo. it's the helensson ITM2 . I believe others such as the Trigerra and the Wronka will also work but they don't offer any kind of adjustments like the helensson.

That phase switch seems like a good idea. I'm thinking build a box that has a pot and a phase switch only to fine tune each one.

Wanted to chime back in to make mention that I was completely wrong inmy last post about series wiring. I asked a friend and he confirmed i am not wired in series at all. Sorry ;)
