Is MegaDrum for me?

Hey there guys,
I'm looking for a device to plug my electronic drum triggers into, which then goes into my computer and then Ableton to display MIDI notes, thus i can upload any sample I want and have it playing where I've hit my triggers.
Is MegaDrum the right product for me? A lot of my research has left me with pretty inconclusive results.
Thanks!

In short, yes.
You need a trigger interface anyway to connect to your laptop.
Other choices are the Alesis IO which is slow or spend lots of money on a Roland module.

What are your reservations?

Thanks for the reply man.
I've had a look at the alessis i|o and whilst they're pretty cheap on ebay. There's some pretty bad reviews floating around about it.
What kind of Roland Modules are you referring to?
My main reservations with MegaDrum is considering I don't know how to put together a unit I'd have to get it made for me, which i'm assuming would cost a lot more....?
Thanks for the help.

Dmitri will correct me but I think you can buy a built version for around £160, which is very competitive, bearing in mind it is faster and will take twice as many inputs as the alesis, or indeed the Roland modules.

Having recently swapped to VST there are 2 things you will regret scrimping on. Latency, Megadrum is very fast, and secondly a decent audio interface.
