Dual Piezo DIY Cymbal - Missing Notes for 'Dual or 3 Way..'

I have a DIY Ride Cymbal 20" Diameter, with 2 Piezo's: one on the Bow, one on the Bell.
It works great when I have each zone set to Single Piezo. (I can hit the bow and get bow notes, and usually see a small amount of Bell notes being triggered [since they're on the same surface] and likewise when I hit the Bell, everything is as expected.)

The problem is when I change the RideB (Ride Bow) to Type = "Dual or 3 Way Yamaha" (3rd zone is all 0's). This will make the Bell and Bow trigger sporadically.. the Bell will often miss hits (so hitting the Bell will not trigger anything, not even a Bow), and giving the Bell a hard hit will miss or trigger the Bow.

So missing notes, and sometimes the Bell won't trigger at all. It seems to work best in this Type setting for very light hits.
What's going on here? Is there a setting that I'm missing?

Sincerly;
Alex

1. How did you configure MidPoint?
2. Post a screenshot of a config on the cymbal.

Dmitri;
thanks for the reply. Attached is the screen shot, let me know if there's any other thoughts.
Sincerely;

You have to adjust the MidPoint for proper separation between zones. With your MidPoint setting it will be very hard/impossible to trigger the rim/edge.

Dmitri;
adjusting the midpoint toward the Bell, doesn't help. The furthest, far left point seems to fit the transition point between the Bow and Bell, best for this 20" Ride Cymbal. Nonetheless, it does cause the Bell to trigger more (change the transition point between bow and bell), but doesn't help the problem, and perhaps makes it worse since the Bell is dropping notes on some hits, and makes the transition point off from where it should be.

Alex.

I can only test it on dual piezo/piezo Pintech mesh snare. When HighLevel on both zones is configured properly and MidPoint is adjusted accordingly I get perfect separation between zones without missed hits. Even more, when MidPoint With is also adjusted I can also get the third note for a cross stick when both zones trigger simultaneously.
Are you sure you configure HighLevel on both zones properly? MidPoint definitely must not be at either left or right extremes when HighLevel are configured properly.

Dmitri;
yes, it's working, and I think this was user error on my part. As now the midpoint is not in the extreme position and working great. I can give hard hits and they will go to the bell, and not disappear or show up as a Bow hit, etc.
thank you.
