optimal trigger peak value

Hey Guys,
Several of my trigers are too hot. I'm going to tune them down with a 100k potmeter. Can anybody tell me what the optimal maximum peak value is for interfacing with the megadrum module.

When LevelAuto is set to Yes the optimal detected HiLevel should be as high as possible but not higher than around 900-950. The lower Gain at that the better.

I was interested in the optimal peak voltage going into the megadrum.

When loaded on a MegaDrum input and only during sampling period the optimal peak voltage is ~4.5V. When not loaded onto an input and not sampled voltage will be much higher.
