Hi,
I just finish the conversion of my HH stand with the hall effect sensor solution, it works fine but as you can see on this video : http://youtu.be/4gvz4rSnuPc
I've some adjustment to do because if look and ear precisely you can ear the "chick" sound of the hh closed is coming just before midi monitor show that is really close...I'm not sure that I'm clear, sorry, the video will help you to understand what I'm trying to explain...so, if some one can give me some idea to adjust the setting. Thanks.

Your chick note is set to 0 (disabled) so I'm guessing it's your VST that is triggering the chick note before it should.

So according to you, the problem is coming from AD2 (it's my vst)...do you know how I can fix it in AD2? thanks.

I have AD1, but I imagine it's similar. In the map window, mess around with "Foot close sensitivity" - it's all I can think of.

Edit: You can also drag the "pedal CC value" lines at the left of the graph too - drag the bottom one down to the bottom/change the rest to taste.

Thank you very much, now it works for me to, but when I hit the hh cymbal while the hh pedal is in open position I get the sound of closed hh...
I try to find the solution without result is it in pedal's levels and notes settings of mdm or in AD2 to?
Another question I've: when you play your hh cymbal do you get differents sounds depending on the strike zone you play, I mean bow, edge and bell sound? me I get only the same sound for the 3 zone I hit...
Thanks for help.

If you get the right open/closed response in mdm, I'd say it's already configured properly there. Go to the map window in AD, click on hi hat, and use the learn function for the bell, shaft and tip: click on the "L" beside "CC HIHat Bell" and hit the bell, then do the same for the shaft and tip:

You should now get a proper opened to closed transition on all three zones, provided you have a 3-zone pad and have set it up properly to send a different note for each zone. Looking at your screenshots in your first post you obviously haven't, so before configuring the hi hat in AD you need to sort out your hi hat pad. Read the process to set up your 3-zone cymbal here: http://www.megadrum.info/content/megadrum-configuration

The link doesn't work for me. Anyway, you can hardly expect to get 3 zones with a dual zone cymbal, can you? If you follow the instructions, setting up a dual zone cymbal is quite straightforward.

Sorry for the link, this one work viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2687 if you're interresting...and effectively it's hard to have 3 zones with a dual zone cymbal lol...
you're speaking of this settings : http://www.megadrum.info/content/settin ... one-cymbal ?
