Hello everyone,
I have a little problem with my PCY155 .
I clearly distinguished the three areas, but the first hit i give on the bow is always captured as a hit on the edge. The hits that follow are correct.
How can I fix this?

1. Are you using the latest firmware version?
2. Please post a screenshot of your settings for the cymbal.

I first would suggest to set MinScan on the Edge (Switch) equal or lower then MinScan on the Bow.

ok , tested , but without effect , Bminscan 30 and Eminscan 20 .
I no longer picks up the bow now .

Ok, I will re-test it with my PCY155. My house is in a mess state right now so it will take awhile.

I noticed it was when the mode "alt sampling algorithm" was enabled.
my toms do actually work well in this mode .

I thought I understood the setup of cymbal , but I realize that I am far away.
I lose hope.

I have 3 Yamaha : hh135 pcy 135 and PCY155 .
With my multimeter ,
When I measure for pcy, i have 0 ohm between ring and sleeve when i press the bell switch and 9,62 kohm when i press de edge.


this is what I measure. There are 3 parts .
The first is on the bow , the second on the bell and the last on the edge .
The first line shows the signal between tip and sleeve .
The second line , the signal between ring and sleeve .


It is clear that there is no signal at the beginning between ring and sleeve, during the first wave of the bow. But on the other, yes

Do you have the " alt sampling algorithm " checked ? without activating it , i'm at a threshold of 32 , and I see that you are only 8.
