can someone tell me which latest version of firmware that works best, on MD with atmega 644 V.2.8 ..? my firmware installed 20140809
I stopped at this because the next was not working correctly, even though expected, but I no more tried others
I would like advice...

You can use the very latest one, it just won't support 56 inputs (I think it's limited to 48).
