I've always wondered what frequency range of the piezo would be best to let through (or eliminate) to maximize sensitivity vs minimizing false triggering.

Posted: Wed Jan 24, 2024 9:16 amThe caps are there to reduce the high frequency noise but are not needed with better opamps.
The rectifier is needed only for positional sensing, it it doesn't make any difference for sensitivity or false triggering suppression.
