I have no problems with usb connection between megadrum and my computer. I use windows vista.

It's really strange that it works for you under linux and that you have the same problems on other computers as well. So, I would focus on the point that your megadrum appears in the device list but is not selectable in your application....that's the abnormal part I think. Do you have "Megadrum Midi USB" appear in the audio configuration window (Midi tab) of your windows control panel?

No it appears as "USB audio device". Though when I deinstall the driver and connect megadrum to the usb port again, it first is recognized as "Megadrum Midi USB", but when the install finishes, it is installed as "USB audio device". I think it might have something to do with language settings of Windows, this happens with printer drivers also from time to time. If I find the time I'll check this out.

This is normal with windows XP.

That's one mystery solved Synthex, one question remaining :
Has someone a working 2.7 build in XP via usb, and if so with which software(s) ?

Hi Gyro.
I have the same problem with my Megadrum.
My computer donn´t find a MIDI device in any sofware.
I have proved with toontrack solo with EZdrummer, but no MIDI device is found.

Did you find whats the matter?
