Need to make it clear in the documentation that the graphing is no substitute for a pair of ears!

I think macca2004's visualisation has potential to be developed for a true visual aid to setup at some stage...

I´m planning to program it as a kind of Megadrum multiuse TV
That is, it will change depending on what you are tweaking. For example. For Threshold, it will show a signal, with a moving line that represents the value you are setting. For Curve type, it will just show a picture of the curve you are currently selecting. Etc. I mean, it won´t be a graph with all the values at the same time, just a different graphical aid for each parameter, maybe for two or three parameters at the same time (that is the case of Dyn Thr and Dyn Level)

Midiox is really useful when editing, especially when setting cymbals using aftertouch..so it would be nice seeing aftertouch messages in the midi log...

Aftertouch messages can be seen from the very first versions of MCT. At least I think so. I programmed it so when the midi log receives an aftertouch note, the bar is colored in red, and a CHOKE label is shown inside it. Maybe I check for the wrong byte in the midi event received... Have to check it out.

Hello everyone! Just joined the forum, I came to this side via vdrums.com. I'm using a TD-20, previous a TD-8 to trigger my acoustic kit and I just ordered my first megadrum. I'll connect the megadrum to the TD-20 to test the trigger response. Later I'll add a notebook with BFD2.

I also downloaded the megadrum config tool and looked at the options because it shows what you can set on the megadrum.

However, one thing came in my mind. The TD-20 uses interval control on the snare and on some cymbals. I found the edrum monitor which got a similar option called ant-machine gun

Would be nice to get that option on all inputs, especailly the toms.

Your VST will often have this feature built-in. I believe BFD2 has it, as does Superior.

elrules - any update on when a release will be available that fully supports the HH PEDAL settings available in the latest firmware?

Ah ok, I'll see as soon as I connect the megadrum to the TD-20, at least on the snare. I think you're right that it depends on the software used.

A new version of MCT has been released ;) Now you can send/receive all kind of configs with the last firmware.

Another thing is that, at least for me, using an old clock selector bootloader (without the "erase" sysex, I could update the firmware with MCT.
