Thanks.

Are you using MegaDrum Manager?

If so it's a little easier to configure. Based on how you wired you're chokable cymbal, you will need to make the pads 'Head' setting -type - either 'Dual or 3way Yamaha' or '3way Roland'.

At this point, you will need to make the pads 'Rim' setting - type -'switch'.

Now, MD will see the piezo signal come from the 'Head', and the FSR from the 'Rim'. Adjust your the 'Rim' threshold until the pressure on the FSR is registering a choke, either viewing in MidiLog within MegaDrum Manager or the light on your interface.

Thanks for your help, I have made what you said to me but without result, about what treshold function are you speaking, because there is 2 treshold function in the column dedicated to the rim?
Thanks.

Have a look at http://www.megadrum.info/content/settin ... one-cymbal if you have a Yamaha style 3 zone cymbal. If it is only a dual zone cymbal, ignore everything about 3rd (Bell) zone and set BThreshold to 0.

What is the resistance between the sleeve and the ring when you press the fsr? If it's more than ~20k-30k it won't work.

I've to put a resistance between the sleeve and the ring??

No. FSR is a resistor itself.

How can I see that? Acording to you, do you think this kind of connection can work with megadrum?
Thank you.

You measure a resistance between the sleeve and the ring with a tester/multimeter. If when pressed the resistance is high, it won't work.
