Chick Delay tells MegaDrum how many milliseconds to wait after it detected a Chick before sending it. If it detects a Splash within this delay, it sends a Splash instead. Did you try to set it Chick Delay to zero? Still no Chicks? Please post a screenshot of the Pedal settings then.

I seem to have it working now.

I have it set to zero.

I followed the instructions here, which said try starting at 600:

Right now it is sending chicks, and will splash if I hit the pedal quickly and let it release.

So looking good.
