Hey.

Has anyone tried to use the newest Roland VH-13 Hi Hat with Megadrum?? I plan to get one and I know it's all advanced and stuff and allows "foot chicks"... Just wondering if anyone has first hand experience.

Hi.

Good question - i have not tried it yet but are using the VH-11 with some good experince. I was looking in the vh-13 manual and it seems like it does not differ from a trigger sensor standpoint. Bow/edge + pedal triggers. Very similar to Vh-11

So I am guessing that most of the new functionality is created in their trigger device Td-30.

So...there are some configurable functionality in MegaDrum which can be used and most often also in your drum plugin to create similar functions according to Rolands feature list of Vh-13.

Foot splashes is no problems to create. The other function which I am a bit wondering about is the pressure sensitive function...but it should also be able to create if the drum sound plugin support sounds like this.

For Vh-11 configurations - check my posts.

Cool... yeah I hear that maybe it's similar to the vh-11 and vh-12... just trying to wrap my head around why it's nearly $200 more than it's previous version...

If i don't like it i can just get rid of it, right?!
