You can use v2.5 or dmitri design or buy a v3.1 kit ;)

Ale.A wrote:The ceramic 100, 220, 470 nF must be multilayer or it's just better?

It's just better, but it's the same.

Ale.A wrote:The rated voltage 25V. If I have 50V is it better, worth, the same? Must I look for 25V?

You can use rated voltage from 10V to 9999V

Ale.A wrote:May I still change the pot trimmer with a cap and a pair of resistor (as said synthex) because the firmware then provide its function, right?

Yes, you can.

Try these. I think they are right, but someone may want to check me.

470nF (.47uF) Cap

47uF 25v Cap

10K Pot

Thanks Jman!!

It's the same as v3.1 without the pin 2 (Hi-Hat hi-Imp.)

Hi Synthex,

Thanks, but i can't get where is the v3.1

I'm a little bit confused here (not little bit but..... very confused) :?

Here is my last questions >>(If I'm not confused anymore)

If I'm building this All In One V2.5 - 32 inputs:

1.) What is the firmware use?
2.) What is the Bootloader use?
3.) What are the crystals we used if i build this 32 inputs.
4.) Is the MCU programming method the same as Dmitri designed in the download section?
5.) If I program, i will use Software Pony for Atmega32 and WinPic for PIC ic's?
6.) Where is the component list on this All-In-One V2.5 >>Or i'm just refer on the above drawing?

Sorry for questions above, or if you have any inputs not on my questions above appreciate that :P

Last but not the list, what is your secret developed this Megadrum?
As what i noticed you are a member too in Edrum

P.S >>I'm now etching the pcb, hope it works.

Thanks

I'm going to (try to) build a v2.5 without USB and without the LCD contrast trimpot. This is the schematic after I removed the USB components and swapped the trimpot for resistors/cap (added components circled in red):

Does it look correct?

Nice man! That came out really clean! I wish I could get my boards to be that tight!

1. Use the FW found HERE
2. Use Bootloader found HERE
3. v 2.5 requires a 12 mhz and a 20 mhz crystal. The 20 mhz FW is what you will use with it.
4. See this page for programming the IC's
5. Components List for v2.5

I looked it over, should work fine still. Not bad if it's your first attempt at making a PCB! ;)
