Or what do you mean by "proper response"?

what i meant was lately, on this particular issue, i haven't been getting any response that is helping me solve the problem or sometimes get no response
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1135&start=0
however, i truly appreciate all the help i got so far.

i have checked keyboard, fuses, isp cable, it seems to be good.

p.s. there is a bootloader and then there is firmware right? for bootloader i use the bootloader.hex file and for firmware i have to use sysex file?

You can program MegaDrum firmware directly (without a bootloader) with ISP to check how buttons work there in the menu (which I already advised you to do in viewtopic.php?p=14626#p14626)

yes...the buttons work perfectly fine when i program the MD firware, i am able to browse through different setting...and i m still able to see the menu when isp cable is not plugged. In the case of bootloader, i have to keep the isp cable on to see the text.

Can you still browse the settings forward and back, change them and not just see the menu when ISP cable is not plugged?
