Looks like R1-R16 voltage divider circuit is also superfluous in this case.

No, these resistors are not superfluous.
They are not used for ESD protection.

Actually I can't figure any use for them except that 0.1V drop. But what for? MUX and µC are powered with the same +5V line. Nor HC4851 or ATmega docs doesn't mention any additional circuitry, so I deduced those resistors are unnecessary.

These resistors are for piezo element impedance.

That would be possibile, if this circuit had been placed before MUX (between piezo and MUX), not after (between MUX and uC). Currently, they are connected only during reading specific input phase, but uC input impedance alone should be similar...

hey synthex

just put up a 'want ad' for a fully built kit, but im not hopeful, so might be interested in a kit

how much shipping to UK?

also, does this include ALL components needed to make a fully functioning MegaDrum?

how many digital/analogue inputs are there on this model?

thanks!

Cool, add me as an interested buyer! :) how do I pay/send details etc?

Also (stupid question but i have to ask) does the kit include all components AND PCBs?

And how much does it cost? great kit tho ;)

thanks
