I've successfully updated MD to the latest firmware with this app. However, I didn't realize that I had to set up MIDI I/O in the options (i.e. there was no error message when I tried to update) prior to this.

I then quickly checked the features of the app out. Everything seems to be working fine (haven't noticed any bugs so far).

Well I pressed the big "Get All" button and all the small "Get" buttons in the sub-sections none of the values from my MD were received: like the Hi-Hat Levels were still all 0 and all the Pads didn't show their assigned MIDI note and stuff. Since I know how to reset my settings I was brave and altered my kickdrums MIDI note to 36 (which it already should have been cuz MD is basically working with Superior Drummer atm), and after re-opening theMDManager it was successfully recalled.
So from/to where does MDManager get/write the settings? In one of the "memory banks"?

The new curve editor looks really handy though!

It would also be nice to have the explanations for all the functions in a mouse-over effect or if not possible as a button next to each function...

I guess MIDI ports in Options are incorrectly set.

I think it can't be wrong MIDI ports (they ARE set to Megadrum USB MIDI btw) because I could write and recall the MIDI-Note for the kickdrum.
So when I now click "Get all" the MIDI note setting for the kickdrum is successfully recalled, but all the other pads show 0 as MIDI note, but still they work in Superior Drummer. That kinda confuses me - what settings are read/written from/to MD?

Getting/sending settings should either work for everything, including all pads, or shouldn't work at all.
Does MIDI LED blink when you try to get settings from MegaDrum?

Yes it does blink.
After playing around with it some more I found out the answer to my question:
the MegaDrumManager does read/write from/to Slot 1. After saving my current settings and drummap in slot 1 MDM would successfully read all settings.
Would be nice to indicate that in the program somewhere, or even better give a choice which slot to read/write :)
Just going crazy on all the settings :D

I've had some issues with MCT and look forward to trying this out. Great idea to show the curves and I also Beans' recommendation.

MegaDrumManager doesn't read/write from/to Slot1 as of yet and it doesn't matter if the settings in MegaDrum are default, adjusted or loaded from EEPROM. When MegaDrum sends its settings, it sends current settings in RAM.

As of now, yes. I will add the function to save in Slot 1 later.
