Well it looks like I can create an aggregate midi device in Midipipe and combine the behringer foot controller and the Megadrum and have them both come out of one port. There is Applescript capability in midipipe, so I'm sure there is a way to write code to listen for the midi signal from the behringer and then have a series of conditionals that will modify the midi notes being sent from Megadrum.

Problem is I don't know a damn thing about Applescript. I know PHP and that's about it for programming languages for me. Applescript looks like a PITA.

Dmitri-do you accept payment to make custom firmware or some way to get this to work?

I'm not rich-I'm a working musician like everyone else here, but our live shows are screeching to a halt with such long delays between songs, and I've gotta figure something out. Feel free to email directly: joel (at) rattletree (dot) com

Sorry, I don't do it and there are several reasons for that.

What I do though is if somebody requests a feature on the forum and there is a support from other MegaDrum users for this feature and it is doable than I usually do add it to the MegaDrum firmware. And I do it without any payment.

So, my advise - describe exactly what feature you need and get support for it from other MegaDrum users.

Right on. I'll start a new thread with the specific request. In the mean time, I'm also trying to figure out the applescript to make this work with midipipe. I'd absolutely prefer to keep this all contained within Megadrum for simplicity, but if I can find a solution on my end, then I'll post it here.

Got it sorted and I am in Midi controller god heaven :-D

I Created a few "pipes" in midipipe and used Applescripts to iterate and modify the midi note info coming out of the megadrum. I now use my Behringer FCB1010 to control the midi note number output of the Megadrum triggers. I also got all the LEDS working correctly in the Arduino.

In short, with the push of a footswitch I can immediately jump to any of our songs in our set and use the same 7 midi triggers to scroll my way through the sections. The arduino controls LEDS that light up in the trigger to confirm that we have indeed triggered the thing. I am so happy right now :-D I have been neglecting this for over a year because I thought it would be impossible. It was damn hard and took 3 days of solid work, but it's done:-D

This still lets me have the 19 midi triggers needed for my upcoming midi marimba :-D

How do you tell it to switch to Pnnn or Unnn patch

My controller is asking for the MSB and LSB values??
Any clues?
