Here is the list of materials from mouser.com as asked through p.m. by member Russ15.
A few thing to keep in mind:
1) I take as a must that YOU DO KNOW how to use BOM on mouser.com
2) There are two lists inside the zip file.
3) The lists don't include an LCD screen as they are over priced in mouser. Buy it from ebay.
4) This list synthex_2-5_mouser_trimpot.xls includes a trimpot for controlling LCD's brightness, as Synthex's original design did. All latest Megadrum firmware allows you to control brightness with buttons. I strongly suggest not to use the trimpot! If you decide to do so, order synthex_2-5_mouser_no-trimpot.xls instead and follow these instructions by Synthex himself, as shown on the attached picture:
Synthex wrote:You must remove the trimpot.
Connect a capacitor of 100nF between 1 and 2.
Connect a resistor of 10k between 1 and 2 (optional).
Connect a resistor of 1k between 2 and 3.
You can mount this last resistor directly on the LCD display (pin 3 and pin 14).
5) This list served me OK when I ordered my components but might contain some errors since I had many more items for different projects in that same order. Please crosscheck it with Synthex's bill of materials before ordering.
6) This list has PIC18F2450 and not PIC18F2550. Both work fine but the first is cheaper. But, if you don't own a PIC programmer, it's better to buy PIC18F2550 as it's better supported by serial programmers. If you don't know what I am talking about, buy PIC18F2550 instead and pay a dollar more.
7) If someone eventually uses any of these lists, please add feedback here!
