Look at the Synthex's profile. See when he logged in the forum and posted anything last time.

I see...... thats why I didnt see his posts on this topic from page 2 :D
he must be on vacation or something.
however, I think this is schematic error, and will place 100nF on its place..

Synthex posted last time on 9 December 2010. Quite obvious it is not a vacation.

hey Dmitri, I have received my atmega, and I looked into it, and noticed that name of the chip is "Atmel ATMega32A PU" is that bad? I ordered atmega32 - 16PU, but chinese guy sold me not right one :D :D
so what's the difference between them?

It may be compatible but I'm not sure about the differences. You can compare datasheets of Atmega32 and Atmega32A at http://www.atmel.com/dyn/products/devic ... ily_id=760

hi again, I programmed both IC's and when I connect Mega to PC I get "new hardware found" thing, but I do not have no inputs and no LCD connected. How could I check it if it's working? maybe with megadrum config tool?
Another one question: where the hell do I get those 4851?? I did not found it anywhere.. and mouser.com and similar shops are too expensive (shipping 40$); maybe I could order it from you?
Thanks again Dmitri! your project is fantastic :twisted:

You can try. If doesn't work it will be hard to debug without an LCD.

Mouser.com ships to the UK for £12. Orders over £50 are shipped free.

maybe I could order it from you?

No.

so how I do it exactly? connect megadrum, turn on config tool, change settings on it and try load them from MD?

hmm.. no. I change KICK setting (curve log1); then I hit Button (send all setings to MD and write to slot 1);
then I disconect MD from USB, and change KICK setting back to (curve Linear); then I close MD config tool, and connect MD again. Open config tool. Then I press (Load settings from MD) {this should bring curve setting back to log1 I think}BUT, nothing happens. KICK Curve stays Linear....
hmm, maybe it is because my atmega 32A not atmega32 16-PU...
