If you are working on the firmware, I noticed that I could not send or receive HiHat Pedal info to or from Megadrum thru MDM... Not sure why, everything else is working, except the values aren't transferring for that...

Are you sure you're using the latest MDM version - 20121202? Does it report Sysex error in red (right above LCD setting in MDM)?

Yes, I am using that version. I click Get under HiHat Pedal and nothing transfers, Sysex reports nothing out of the ordinary. Click Send, and I get a Sysex error in red, and it sends the data from MDM to Megadrum.

Let's address it separately later in the MDM thread. Meanwhile, please test 20121207_3 version I posted a few posts above.

No problem!

Much better response now, very quick fully open to fully closed. Using the curve adjustment I can fine tune nicely. I'd say this is case closed!! I can certainly work with this as far as the controller is concerned!

Good! I'll do some cleaning up and regression testing and then publish a new version officially. Thanks for all your tests and time!

Forgot to say that it should work even without an extra resistor between tip and ring but with different, lower, LowLevel and HiLevel settings.

I can't take much credit for this thread but thank you very much to the team that has put so much effort into testing, I am hoping to have time tonight out of my busy week to go through and compare my results to those of yours.

At a quick glance by reading the forum posts it sounds like you have almost resolved the VH11/12 issues & this sounds quite exciting & great for this active community.

Hi!

I have been testing the new firmware 201207 ver 3 with my VH-11.

Resistor: 15K.
lo Imp
AltIn - no
CC RdcLvl - 0
LevelsAuto - No
All Gains Low - no

Low 51
High 735

The pedal follows in a very nice smooth way. No problems to get the high/low levels...and the the levels in between. Stable signal. It is actually faster than before...but I could even use some more pedal speed when playing fast pedal jumps to make it perfect. But extremly nice any way! My best recommendations!

Best Regards
Anders
