1. How do you name a device which measure level of hihat (roland cy-5). It is device located under cy5 and measure (height) of that cy-5. I am using name Potentiometr. Is it right name ?
2. Using Roland CY-5 and Potentiometr should I set: Single Piezo or Dual or 3 zone Yamaha for BOW ? for EDGE should i set Piezo ?
4. As i wrote I am using roland cy-5. Which parts of hi hat should generate signal: Bow, Bell, Edge ?
5. I have read that roland cy-5 should generate only: Bow and Edge signal. Why my roland cy-5 generate Bell signal ?
6. Make some setting of Hihat I can do some settings in few zones.

a. Left zone: MISC
b. Center zone name: HIHAT PEDAL
c. Right zone: PADS (HEAD/BOW and RIM/EDGE)

What is connection between sounds set in PADS zone and sounds set in HIHAT PEDAL zone ? Settings done in HIHAT PEDAL zone describe exactly what sound should be generated. What is an influence sounds set in PADS zone for sounds set in HIHAT PEDAL zone ?

It depends on the exact device under your CY-5. If it is a fully variable HiHat controller it can be a Potentiometer or Optical or Hall Effect controller.
Or could be just a simple switch.
Or a stepped variable controller.

Is it 1, 2 or 3 zones cymbal?
Is it piezo, piezo/switch, piezo/switch/switch or some other type of cymbal?

For 1 zone cymbals it's just Bow.
For 2 zones cymbals it's Bow and Edge.
For 3 zones cymbals it's Bow, Edge and Bell.

Probably you configured it incorrectly. What are the settings on the cymbal?

You should really read http://www.megadrum.info/content/hihat-pedal-settings , e.g. for "HiHat Pedal->BowSO/EdgeSO/BellSO" it says"
"Set the note number which MegaDrum will send when you hit HiHat on the Bow/Edge/Bell and the HiHat pedal is between fully open and half pressed (half open)."

The pad also provides separate bow and edge triggering.

Then it is a 2 zones piezo/switch cymbal.
In http://www.megadrum.info/content/pads-settings read about PadName->DualHead, PadName->Type and PadName->Threshold. It explains how to configure 2 zones piezo/switch pads/cymbals.

I don’t know how to set my hihat.

a. I use Roland CY-5
b. As we agreed it is Dual zone (Piezo/ Switch)
c. I plug in to Megadrum, set some settings (see picture 1) and I have a strange results.



To provide you all information I will list all tones I have as a result of different options.
Numbers means tones which produce hihat from closed hihat position through half open to fully open hihat.
Hitting Bow – means that I am hitting Bow (only by head of stick, hits are made in the middle of plate), Hitting Edge – means that I am hitting Edge (only by body of stick, like in heavy metal music)

Before doing anything with the HiHat pedal, you should properly configure the HiHat cymbal.
In MIDILog do you see Aftertouch On and Off messages when you press and release the edge switch?
If not, then you have not configured it properly as I advised in viewtopic.php?p=25754#p25754

press and release - you mean hitting edge ? or you mean change from: Dual or 3 way Yamaha/ Piezo into Dual or 3 way Yamaha/ Switch
