But first note after choke is always bell shot.

If you get the same result, then it is a bug in the firmware and I'll need to find a cause and fix it.

Dmitri, it can be easily reproduced with two ordinary sequentially connected dualhead cymbal pads. Just set type "3way roland" on the first.

I will try to reproduce it with two cymbals.

I tried it with two cymbals to emulate a Roland 3way cymbal. There is something going on here but I cannot reproduce the whole thing completely since piezo in the second cymbal is ignored (rightly so) so I cannot emulate hitting edge. I will try to make a mock 3way cymbal on a pcb with a piezo and two switches but it will take some time.

P.S. This highlighted to me again how much better Yamaha's 3 zone design is.

Dmitri, thank you for willingness to help, but I think making a mock may not be necessarily. I'm sorry for not stressing that I reversed order of inputs! As I said in first post, the only configuration, that worked for me is when bow/bell cymbal output connected AFTER bow/edge output.

You can reproduce the problem even with one ordinary dualhead cymbal and the following input left empty! Just load your working settings, but set "3way roland" on it, and on the empty input set 0 for head/bow and some note for rim/edge.
Then choke cymbal and hit it, you will see note that you set to rim/edge on empty input, regardless what you hit bow or edge. When you hit once again you'll see correct note.

Although I didn't tried, but maybe we can emulate 3way roland cymbal with two cymbals fixed in adjoined position? Or setting xtalk level to 0?

I believe you're right, regarding to Yamaha cymbal, never tried it myself.

Can you please test this firmware version:

megadrum_20140226.zip

I tested it with a mock 3way cymbal and as far as I can see it fixes the "stuck" bell note bug. I still need to fix another bug where when hitting the cymbal while the edge switch is pressed (Dampened Note) also wrongly sends Aftertouch messages.

Please test this firmware version:

megadrum_20140227.zip

I believe I fixed all Roland 3way related bugs in it.

Exciting! I will test it during this weekend...when rehearsing. I have not been able to test the current bug because of time!

Dmitri, thank you for such a brilliant support! It works! Choke notes are correct!
Could you also please add functionality to disable bell-chokes? Sometimes bell trigger produces false chokes because of modified clutch of the ride cymbal.

I got it myself but I thought it was just because of the way my mock cymbal is done. I will see what is the best way to fix it.
