I damaged pic?

Postby keko030 » Mon Feb 17, 2014 3:08 am

I am getting the MD ALL IN ONE V 2.5 and I'm trying to program the pic 18f2550 , 2 days ago I am trying to program it and not e able , the crystal is 12,000 use the WinPic800 and tested cables often and revised plate and I do not see the problem
In Winpic do hardware test and it gives me ok , I program with verification, program everything and gives me ok without errors , verify everything and I'm ok with no errors , unplug the wires and plug in one usb and pc makes the sound of a Connect via USB but does not recognize me or installs the drivers , and the funny thing is that at this time connecting cable ISCP open the Winpic and gives me error when I check in address verification , but when I was not recording , and the scheduled in 3 different and always makes me the same pc , the first time you set it when I plug the usb recognized as megadrum and try to install the drivers , but gave me an error and does not install , gave me the following times and unknown device last time no longer gives me any message , I hope any suggestions , greetings and thanks

If WinPic says the PIC was programmed successfully but it is still not recognized as USB device then you have errors on the PCB, for example shorts, breaks, incorrect parts values.

had put by mistake capasitor instead of 4.7uf 47uf, change it and still doing the same thing I do not like when this programming, the progress bar slowly increases up to 10% and jump directly from 11% to 50% this is average at Winpic?
something I forgot to mention is that I was not very careful in handling the pic, probably touch it with your hands, it is sencible to static?

The PIC18F2550 firmware will work with any PIC18F2550.
Your PC should recognize MegaDrum connected with or without Atmega.

Hi dimitri, I'll ask a dumb question but.
Without the atmega, pc installing drivers? Because my pc makes the sound when I connect but does not install drivers

The USB MIDI implementation I did is USB MIDI Class Compliant so all modern OSs already have needed drivers built in.
