1. Is the TRS cable stereo?
2. Did you set Note on the head to match desired head sound in superior drummer, bfd and addictive drums?
3. Take the screenshot of settings the head and the rim.

I thought all trs were stereo ? it has 3 contacts

also when I select learn it only registers the rim ( and the head if I hit it very hard( but im assuming its still triggering the rim)

what sould you like me to take a screen shot of? (which screen) can you send me an example

thanks Dmitri

This is correct.

1. Do you configure MegaDrum with the MegaDrum Manager (MDM) http://www.megadrum.info/content/megadrum-manager ? This is where you can take screenshots of settings.
2. Does MIDI Log in MDM show only rim note triggering?
3. Did you plug the TRS cable all the way in at both ends?

I forgot about the mom .. I had to go to work but I'll mess with it when I get home ...maybe because I didn't run the mom .. I'm sure it's something simple .... I hope

If you're on Windows then you can use http://sourceforge.net/projects/greenshot/ to take screenshots of any area of a screen.
Save screenshots in png or jpg format to make them small.

Does it trigger only rim regardless in which jack you plug it in? If so, then there must be something wrong with the cable or with the pad.

I did try a different drum and this time im getting the head but it does not trigger light taps to get a light drum roll (im using it as a snare) in port 4 also midi visual shows every hit as yellow (unknown)

I tried adjusting the threshold but still nothing works the sensitivity is the same

still trying to figure out this screen shot program
