Stop note

Postby raul » Thu Dec 04, 2014 4:31 pm

hi,
my problem is that by uploading the firmware 20140809 and successive, when I play quickly from one pad to another, occurs frequently stop duration notes, also changing the parameters did not improve much, happens is a coking without action.
i've md with at mega 644 20 MHz without eprom, connected via midi with Alesis d4 as expander,
In previous versions of firmware the problem did not occur.
I can not carry a basic configuration to verify the problem.
anyone have suggestions?
Thanks.

To be honest, I don't understand the description of the problem.

At a guess this is either crosstalk or retrigger. What is re trigger set at?

koby drums - Triggera krigg/Bix - megadrum - Kontakt........... Samples from all and sundry.

So, do I understand it right that when you make fast rolls some hits are missed?

No, in expander, the decay note stops prior to the end,
all pads are set : retrigger = 1 , threshold =18
in previous versions firmware of 20140809 is ok.

Ok, what is the note off value? I can't imagine it is this, as we are talking about percussion sounds but just to eliminate it.

Then I don't understand the problem again. When you hit a pad, MegaDrum must send a Note Off first if the previous note on this pad is still On. Otherwise, MegaDrum sends Note Off after Note On with 'NoteOff Delay'.

Still not clear to me. Take two screenshots of MDM MIDI Log: first - without the problem, second - with the problem.
