Dear Synthex,

I've been reading about the midi-board with great interest. I'm working on a spare time project to merge 8 (eight) midi inputs to one output to be able to connect all my keyboards (and not just one). The obvious problem of course is the fact that the capacity of the output is insufficient in peak situations.
Do you think it would be possible to let your firmware run the serial interface at a multiple of the midi speed? Say 4x or maybe even 8x?

And if think you it would be possible, would you have the infinite greatness to produce a hexfile with the increased baudrate?

Your thoughts?

Kind regards,

Yak

P.S. Maybe this is also an idea to incorporate this in the Megadrum project since it can also reduce latency.

Sorry, but I have no time to do this.

Did you make a "forum search" for this problem ?

Do you use a ICSP cable ?
Do you plug the USB power ?
